Good quality craftsmanship.The master bathroom has a fantastic vanity with two sinks and storage that is great looking and has such heft to it that I am very pleased. The sound of the cabinet doors and drawers is very solid: 1.25” thick inset door with matching interior. It is like a fine piece of furniture that is finished and solid. I am very pleased by the quality.”

“I cannot say enough great things about René. The product itself (we used the Decora cabinets) is extremely well made. Being a hobbyist finished wood worker, and having made my share of cabinets over the years, I can attest that these cabinets are as good as you can get. Even my contractor commented on the quality - both the boxes and the finish. I also did my research and received quotes from a handful of other cabinet suppliers and found these to be cost competitive. I feel like I got a great deal on these cabinets, which was important when trying to stay within budget - something René was cognizant of.

The cabinets are simply a product, whereas René was a tremendous asset all by herself. We incorporated every single design element she suggested, and we could not be happier. Her suggestions took this project to another level. She put in far more time than I would have expected of anyone to ensure that everything was just right - even coming to meet with the contractor pre-install to confirm that there was no confusion.

One of the cabinets, a hood box, was something that took significant time to design as it needed to be custom made. As Murphy’s Law would have it, that was the one piece that was damaged by the shipping company. One quick call to René and the next day I had an email from the manufacturer letting me know that a replacement was being built on an expedited basis. That was super important and helpful in keeping the project on schedule.

Beyond knowledgeable and clearly experienced with a great eye for design (and detail), we found René to be very responsive, available, honest and forthright. I don’t know what else we could have asked for in this process. Her involvement was far more than helping us get cabinets. Our new kitchen wouldn’t be nearly as wonderful as it is now had René not been involved. While I hope not to do another kitchen anytime soon, I wouldn’t consider using anyone else the next time.”

“Great experience! René incorporated all of my ideas and had great suggestions when I needed help, For example, cabinet colors - it would never have occurred to me to use two different colors, but it provided a nice balance - all dark cabinets would have looked too heavy in such a small space. Another great suggestion was to break up what was originally a solid wall of cabinets (essentially a pantry) with a counter-height section in the middle, making the breakfast area much more functional, and also saving money. Her attention to detail is also impressive. At the end of the project, she had several suggestions that make the rooms look more “finished.” Couldn’t be happier with the quality of the cabinets.”

“Clawson cabinets was a pleasure to deal with on the lifetime warranty on the cabinets. A couple of doors over a period of time had an unexplained issue with regard to the finish not holding up.
